Damn I wish this was real. Can you imagine this thing with the M3/4 engine putting out 425hp? Macan who?!

Hahaha, I’ve been thinking about the same thing all week. Been following a X4 M40i home all week, even that looks like hilarious fun.

How would you feel about the M4 GTS engine in a M5 chassis? M5 CSL!

I’d take the Macan

As a BMW guy, who also really isn’t a fan of Porsches, I’d still take the Macan. It’d more than likely be dynamically better in every aspect, especially now that BMW has seemingly decided to take dynamics down the totem pole of importance under branding and lease deals.

We have the “slow” version, still damn fat. But yeah another 125hp would be even better.

Although echoing logan, a Macan Turbo would still likely be the better car.

Kinja'd!!!

I’d settle for an Xdrive35i with the M Sport package in Melbourne Red.

The M5 is way too heavy for the M4 engine. They would have to put it on an extreme diet for that to work out...

You mean the Porsche Q5?

The Macan is simply a Q5 with an upgraded engine. I can’t imagine the dynamics are that strong.

Don’t forget, the Macan is still a Q5 underneath so it too has its dynamic limitations. And the M cars are still stupid fun.

I’ll take mine in Carbon Black. But yes.

It might be related to the Q5, but it's a Porsche, they aren't going to sell anything that doesn't knock your socks off when you toss it into some bends. The Cayenne is related the the Touareg, and that doesn't change that it's probably the most athletic SUV of that size.

It’s more than just related. The platform and chassis are a Q5, which is a lifted A4. The same way the X3 is a lifted 3-Series. Which means that the X3M would be a lifted M3. I don’t see how this could ever lose...
